50 Years in Kingstanding
On March 25th,we celebrate 5o years of mission in Kingstanding.Mass will be celebrated by the Archbishop of Birmingham
Most Rev Bernard Longley. It is also a time of closure for 99 Old Oscott Hill. The end of long years of service. It has a wider significance for the Congregation as it is the last community of what was the Anglo/Scottish Province. The history of the sisters in Englad goes back to 1880.It is a time to remember all the Little Sisters who have spent years in Kingstanding, those living and dead.
The decision of Pope Benedict xvi to resign has been a big change in the Church,s history. It has evoked various responses throughout the world.Let us unite with him and the entire church at this time.We pray the Spirit of God to “Fall afresh on us”
